Role Description: As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing the technological vision and strategy of the company. You will lead the development and implementation of our generative AI solutions, ensuring alignment with our business goals and driving innovation to maintain our competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:
•Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business objectives.
•Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering and R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
•Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of generative AI products, from concept to deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
•Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and generative technologies, and integrate cutting-edge research and trends into our product roadmap.
•Collaboration: Work closely with other executive team members to ensure technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
•Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for software development, data management, and AI model validation to ensure the highest quality and ethical standards.
•Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, including staffing, resources, and investments in new technologies.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate the company’s technology strategy to partners, investors, and customers, and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Experience:
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
•Proven track record in leading the development and deployment of AI-based products, with a specific focus on generative AI.
•Experience in a startup environment, preferably within the AI or tech industry.
Skills:
•Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and specifically generative AI technologies such as GANs, VAEs, and transformer models.
•Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related frameworks.
•Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and scalable system architecture.
•Excellent leadership, team-building, and project management skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
•Proven ability to drive innovation and lead complex projects to successful completion.
•Demonstrated experience in managing technology budgets and resources efficiently.
•Strong network within the AI and tech community is a plus.
