Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Security Officer in Dubai, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors. You will monitor surveillance equipment, patrol designated areas, and respond to security incidents to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol and Monitoring:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter suspicious activities.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks.
Report any breaches of security or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
Access Control:

Control access points to the premises, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Issue visitor passes and maintain a log of entry and exit activities.
Ensure compliance with access control policies and procedures.
Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents.
Implement emergency protocols to safeguard lives and property.
Liaise with emergency services (police, fire brigade, ambulance) as necessary.
Crowd Control and Conflict Resolution:

Manage crowds during events or busy periods to maintain order and safety.
Resolve conflicts or disputes calmly and professionally.
Use de-escalation techniques to defuse tense situations.
Reporting and Doentation:

Write detailed incident reports doenting security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
Maintain daily logs and records of activities, incidents, and inspections.
Provide testimony in legal proceedings if required.
Security Procedures and Policies:

Enforce security procedures and protocols to protect assets, property, and information.
Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements to enhance security measures.
Stay updated on security trends, threats, and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
Ability to operate surveillance and security systems effectively.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods.
Certifications:

Security Guard license issued by the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) in Dubai is typically required.
First Aid and CPR certification may be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
